I turn 21 tomorrow.
I need drink recommendations.
Please?
I do have a Designated Driver for tomorrow night as well. Anything OPPO would recommend?

Try a little of a few things. Enjoy.

Why not try them all?

Captain Morgans spiced and coke; my drink of choice. I’m drinking Corona right now.

Start with a Jager Bomb. Bombs are fun and the Red Bull will help the night go long.

Trying more things is more fun than getting hammered, I’ve only been at this one year but that’s my experience. Also, moscow mules and stouts, though not together.

Don a suit, drink an old fashioned or dirty Martini, bang a secretary. Do it Mad Men style.

Try Leinenkugel Canoe Paddler if you have somewhere nearby that stocks it. It’s cheap, and a reasonably good approximation of a German Koelsch beer. Not too much of any one flavor type, and not hoppy and angry like all the IPA IPA IPA ALL TEH TIEMZ beers that are popular among some. You might also try Guinness if you can get the brewed-in-Canada stuff instead of Ireland, and you could also try the old standbys - Yuengling, Blue Moon, etc. No sense making a snob of you yet, but no reason to just drink Bud.
On the liquor front, try Blue Curacao, Amaretto, and schnapps if you like sweet, and ordinary Morgan rum, Black Label whiskey, and other things if you don’t so much.

Trying things while slowly getting hammered is more fun than either. Everyone should get seriously shitfaced at least once though, it’s a mistake to help you avoid worse ones later :)

I don’t get on OPPO much on the weekends so i’ll wish you a Happy B-Day now! Have a big bad Ford
Since I don’t drink, all I can suggest is Strawberry NesQuik

I’m generally not too into beer - I’m the sorta dude who likes booze to not taste like booze, sacrilegious as that is - but I quite like Desperados. It’s refreshing in a way most beers aren’t to me.
Beyond that, Disaronno/ameretto and Coke tastes like Dr Pepper, so I’m all over that shit. Crabby’s boozy ginger beer is pretty good, too.

My mixed drink of choice, adapted from a friend who used to make it with Gin instead.
-White tequila, seltzer water, squeeze in a lime wedge. Serve over ice.
Tastes funny at first, but after a one or two you find it is refreshing and hydrating in a way no soda based mixed drink could ever be.

If I don’t get my Ski because you’re too drunk to get to Cars and Coffee, I’m not gonna be happy.

I couldn’t tell you. My 21st birthday was spent staying up until 5am doing engineering homework.

Jack Daniel’s Honey is my preferred whiskey. Whatever you do, do not go past 7 shots! I once did I think 10 or 12, not too sure, I woke up covered in my own throw up! It’s a lot easier to go overboard and think “What’s one more shot” when you’re already drunk. So 7 shots/beers and done is my hard and fast rule. Also whiskey is a lot easier on having a hangover than tequila is in my experience.

Craft is best (personal fav: Steam Whistle!). But then I doubt if you could get my favorite crafts in the States. Of the mainstream brands, Heineken is my favorite, and most stuff from Molson is a good standby.
Jager (bombs are good, but it doesn’t need it, it’s good anyway), Jameson (w/ Canada Dry Ginger Ale for me), Fireball (w/ Vernors) as far as hard stuff goes.

Coke, Pepsi, MtDew, all good choices

Crabbies is great. Needs MOAR ginger though, imo. But then I have a hard time getting enough ginger...

Nah, I’m with you on the more ginger thing. I’d love it if they put out an ‘Extra Firey’ Crabbies, or something along those lines.
I do quite like cider, as well, but after a rather unfortunate experience with some Strongbow Dark Fruits - I still had purple stuff coming out of me at night on the following day - I’ve been a little wary.

I haven’t been properly shitfaced for getting close to 2 years, and I don’t really feel like going back. Don’t ask, I’m not providing details.
I try not to drink during the week... I tends to have unwelcome consequences :)

I’d buy the shit out of that.

My more serious answer, because trying all the booze usually results in at least a bad hangover, at worst a trip to the hospital (depending on how much of each you try) -
Pick something and stick to it - beer, dark liquor, light liquor, red wine, white wine. When you start mixing they start fighting your stomach and eventually your body gets pissed and throws everyone out the way they came.
What’s your pallate? If you like sweet things, go for sweet drinks - margaritas, rum and coke, belgian style beers, hard ciders (and don’t let anyone give you shit for cider - it was the drink of the patriots). If you like sour or tart go for sour beers (if you can find them), gin and tonics, stuff like that. If you like bitter, go for IPAs or ESB beers. If you want to keep it classy martinis or scotch are good choices.
The world is your oyster now and for a while because there’s lot of different stuff out there to try. You’ll find stuff you like and stuff you don’t. And your pallate will change over time. I used to hate hoppy beers like IPAs, but I’m slowly coming around on them. I also used to hate brown liquors, and now I love scotch.
Most importantly just be safe and try not to get too stupid.

To be fair I wasn’t completely shitfaced. But my best friend and I pounded a few bombers of Flying Fish Blueberry Braggot (15%). It was a fun night, but not a fun Thursday at work.
